Rendering An Anaglyph Image
Start with an aligned stereo pair.
On the left image, select all (Ctrl+A) and copy (Ctrl+C) only the red channel.
Go to the red channel of the right image.
Paste the red channel of the left image into the red channel of the right image (Ctrl+V).
Now view your anaglyph!
If you find too much retinal rivalry with red colors in the finished color anaglyph, try desaturating reds to varying degrees in the left image before pasting it into the right image. For monochrome anaglyphs, simply desaturate all colors in both left and right images. This maintains the RGB channels. When starting out with monochrome images, convert to RGB mode first.
