Once rotational errors are corrected, commit to the changes by pressing Enter.

Horizontal and vertical alignment can be done with the Move Tool. It is helpful to make minor adjustments by "nudging" with the arrow keys. At this point, stereo window placement can be assigned by setting the amount of horizontal shift between the left and right images. Typically, moving the left image to the left or the right image to the right will move the pair further back into the window.

Once all alignment is complete, be sure to crop the layered images so that unwanted items along the edges are not in view. Now make a copy of Layer 1...

Create a new file; it will automatically be sized to accommodate the image copied to the clipboard.
